Meet our Director: Jonathan Osbrink

Jonathan Osbrink spent 29 years teaching vocal and instrumental music in
Southern California middle and high schools, including teaching and conducting many
musical theater productions. He retired from full–time teaching in June of 2018.

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in choral music
from Cal State Fullerton and has sung in many of the great choirs in Southern
California, including the Pacific Chorale and Riverside’s own Raincross Master Chorale.
He also was a member of the Oregon Bach Festival Chorus for 11 seasons. He played

He has performed in various musicals in college and the community. In 2019, he played Kaspar in Riverside Lyric Opera’s production of Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors.” In addition, Jonathan has been a church tenor soloist/section leader for the Crystal Cathedral Choir and the Cathedral Choir at Hollywood Presbyterian Church. He now serves as the choir and bell choir director at Calvary Presbyterian Church here in Riverside.
