Meet Our Accompanist: Abe Fabella
Abe Fabella brings a wealth of accompanying experience to bolster the Raincross Master Chorale, having accompanied for churches, opera productions and university choirs. He plays piano and organ, enjoys many styles of music and is currently the organist and choirmaster at All Saints Episcopal Church of Riverside.
He is the Artistic Director of Riverside Lyric Opera (www.riversidelyricopera.org) and has produced operas such as Amahl and the Night Visitors, La Boheme, Hansel and Gretel, Cosi Fan Tutte, among many others.
Abe holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Education from La Sierra University and a Master’s in Music Composition from San Francisco Conservatory of Music as well as a Master’s in Music from UC Riverside. He pursued additional study in music composition at UCLA.
He is the founder and director of Fabella Music Studio, where he offers lessons in piano, voice, music theory and composition for students of all ages (6-adult). He is a board member of the Riverside Branch of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. He is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and the Music Teachers National Association.
